Prelim rounds - These will be subject to specified 'play-by' dates. The first named player is the 'home' player although it is both players responsibility to agree time/ date/ venue. Should matches not be played by published dates then the organising committee reserves the right to determine match result.
The Shropshire county closed this year is being hosted by Shrewsbury Squash & Racketball club. Entries will be open from 18th February to 10th March, with the opening games being played from the 17th March. Finals weekend is set for the first weekend of May over the Saturday and Sunday (4th / 5th May).
The ladies champion this year will be the one who progresses furthest (or wins) the Open competition. If there are 2 ladies finishing in the same group stage of the open, a finals event will be held to determine the ladies county champion on the finals weekend in May.
This year we are introducing a Ladies Novice and Open Novice tournaments. These tournaments are open to all players who have not played team squash.
There is also an Open B Grade for players who have not played in Shropshire Division 1.
There will be a plate competition for all draws.
